keep moving forward

I have had some amazing conversations with my friends over these past couple of weeks. Friends that have been just picking up the phone and calling. What!?! Someone calling and it’s not scheduled? Whoa.

Here are some things coming up for me from these conversations and just from being at home with no where to go:

  • I have the same 24 hours I had before. So why is it now I am making time for things that I didn’t before. It has come to my attention that I have been wasteful. With my time. Doing things or going places that weren’t needed. I actually did a creative photo project yesterday that I have been wanting to do for months. I’ve made time to talk with friends. Answer my phone when it rings. Playing board games with my family. Why now and not before? Part of it is spending less time scrolling on social media.
  • I truly believe we are being called to awaken. To ourselves. So we can go forward after this (we will get to the other side of this), and live from a higher level of consciousness from a space of who we are. We are being asked, not so gently from the Universe, to slow down, connect with who we are and open our hearts to all. To sit in stillness (you knew I would eventually say it: MEDITATION).
  • I always look for the BIG thing. You know, that giant thing I am meant to be doing of value. Instead, what if it’s the little things. The tiny action step I take today to call a friend, write for 5 minutes, cook a meal, be a beginner at something, support a small business in some small way (I bought 2 bracelets from 4Ocean and bought some gift cards from my local coffee shop).

Daily, I am asking myself as I look in the mirror in the morning to brush my teeth and wash my face:

How can I raise my vibration, my level of consciousness today?

Because what if something I do or say helps raise someone else’s vibration and so on and so on and so on.
